Unpacking the new studio
I've been in the mode of working, that the unpacking of the studio of the fun stuff (not printers, and stock) has yet to place. I was rummaging through the stuff that I would like to take out of storage and came across these framed prints.
These are from around 2002-2003 when I worked for the awesome toy store Mastermind (www.MastermindToys.com) at their head office doing graphic design, and running the e-mail marketing department. It was an awesome job to have right out of university (hello, I'm a Cultural Studies Major) so I realize how amazing that it was for that oppertunity. I saved some of my work and at the time, I had my first work framed. It was so long ago, but it feels like yesterday that I designed these.
When I pulled the prints out out and reflected, I remembered that at the end of the month is the 5 year anniversary of when I officially opened PennyPeople.com. One chapter of my life closed 5 years ago, and a new, fabulous one began.
So it's with the nicest of reflections that I look back on these prints and I thought I would share them with you today. :) I hope everyone is following their passions, as am I over on this side of the computer.
It's great to see how you've grown as an artist!
